This yacht has set a new market standard; she is the only 13.5 mts, designed and built for fast cruising with a reduced crew, thanks to all lines being lead to just two winches within easy reach of the helmsman. The boat can be used for cruising and racing opting for the mainsail traveller totally recessed and winches on the coaming to deploy the asymmetrical spi. The deck layout comprises a roomy sail locker, large cockpit lockers and an independent storage space for the liferaft. Her beam of 4.18 mts. allows for the possibility of a large stern cabin, with wide twin beds. The hull with its widest beam moved aft and twin rudder blades ensures maximum efficiency at any angle of heel.

With this latest model Solaris surpasses the standards set by itself. The Solaris 47 is the first and only model in this size to combine all the features and innovations to enable a high-performance boat to be easily sailed even with a small crew: recessed track for the self-tacking jib; only 2 winches at the helmsman’s position with which you can control all the lines; clear separation between the guest and crew areas; dedicated liferaft compartment with easy access; watertight large-size and functional sail locker; tender garage to stowing the tender and the outboard engine. The hull shape represents a refinement of the water lines already widely and successfully tested at sea with the Solaris 50 and 58. The weight distribution and the hull volume defines a high performance hull shape even in adverse sea conditions, with high stability coefficients to maintain sail area even in strong winds. As with all the yard’s models the production of the 47 follows the exclusive Solaris methods developing a strong and stiff monolithic hull. The interior layout with 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms was studied at the yard in a full size mock-up, only with this process can you truly test the ergonomics of all components designed in 3D; the interior layout has a classic galley to port with forward owners cabin. The craftsmanship in the joinery and the assembling of all components at the Yard ensures an enviable standard of quality.

After the success of the 48-footer, which was first introduced in 2006 and which is still a reference when it comes to design, performance and functionality to all owners, designers and engineers, Solaris renews the challenge in the 15-meter market with the ground-breaking new Solaris 50. With the new 50-foot yacht Solaris wants to continue the success of the Solaris 48. In the 8 years of market presence the 48 has conquered not only the European market but also found owners on all other continents. The goal is to combine new solutions with proven systems and implement these to the 50-foot model by building an evolutionary yacht with the most innovative standards for the next decade. With this new 50-foot yacht we are convinced to have achieved all objectives because of the following 10 reasons:

  • 1 After the 44, 58 and 72, the new 50′ represents the latest evolutionary step of the hull lines designed by Soto Acebal, where the balance of the hull is demonstrated by high performance and smooth sailing on the water;
  • 2 Functional and minimalistic distribution of deck gear – only 4 winches positioned by the wheels, to allow easy handling at the helm position, as well as the self-tacking jib, with recessed track;
  • 3 Completely foldaway sprayhood;
  • 4 integrated bowsprit to attach new generation sails such as gennaker and code 0;
  • 5 sail locker large enough to enable the option of a crew berth;
  • 6 guest head with separate shower cubicle and wet locker which drains into the shower bilge;
  • 7 aft cabin with twin standard size berths;

The Solaris 55 has been designed to satisfy the most demanding customers requiring performance sailing even with reduced crew. The in-house technical department along with the naval architect Javier Soto Acebal have worked for fourteen months to fine-tune this project to the smallest detail, to ensure the 55 becomes the bench mark in the 16 meter category in the world today, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. The most important qualities of the Solaris 55 include: 1 High performance hull lines with the maximum beam astern, as in the modern ocean racers. 2 The high stability ratio and righting moment derives from the hull lines and the T-keel with a lead bulb and cast iron fin which has more than a 40% ballast ratio. 3 The layout of the control lines, the winches within easy reach of the helmsman and the self-tacking jib, allow easy and safe handling of the boat even with limited crew and over long distance cruising. 4 The storage areas are very large including a dedicated liferaft pod on deck, gas bottle and tool lockers. The wide tender garage, with opening transom door and access from the deck. 5 The internal layout enables lengthy periods at anchor without the need for supplies from harbour, thanks to galley compartments and equipment comparable to those of bigger yachts. All three cabins are fitted with ensuite bathrooms. In addition to the two options for the master cabin (with central bed or outboard bed) the starboard rear cabin can be fitted with two regular size single beds, being considered, to all intents and purposes, a second master cabin in terms of volume and storage capacity. In the bow it is possible to opt for a crew cabin, fitted with toilet and washbasin, or for a big sail locker fitted with shelves and storage boxes. 6 The safety in all wind and sea conditions is ensured by the exclusive construction technique of Solaris, where all the elements such as bulkheads, chainplates and furnishings are firmly resin-bonded to hull and deck and are not glued with fillers and silicone.

In 2020 the Solaris 60 will be launched. This model will mark the way of building and conceiving the boat and it will influence the nautical design for the next ten years…
Solaris 60 is inspired by the idea of creating a Mini-Maxi, a high performance sailboat, with an overall length of 18.31 m. This length allows to take part in offshore racings, in Mini-Maxi class, including the main event in Porto Cervo that take place every year.
The main innovation of the Solaris 60 is the cockpit because of its full width steering wheels. You can steer the boat without the intrusion of the sprayhood. This ensure that the jib’s luff is always completely left in sight while sailing.
The width of the steering system allows to lower the lifelines in the aft area and to lift them near the two steps that lead to the side decks. This solution is normally adopted on very big boats, bigger than 140 ft. Moreover, thanks to the width of the wheels even during manoeuvring and navigation, the helmsman will have an unobstructed view without any kind of obstacle.
Behind the wheels several seat options are available to steer in different sea conditions, even sitting down.
Below deck you will find a typical Solaris layout which includes a galley slightly hidden by two steps forward and for the first time two aft cabins with single or double beds, with a wide porthole facing the interior of the cockpit.
The owner’s cabin, situated in the front, is extremely wide and equipped with a wide capacity and with the option of outboard or central bed.
Special focus to the crew cabin too, situated in the bow, equipped with a separate bathroom.
The tender garage, with longitudinal access, has a minimum intrusion into the aft cabins.

A new model from the drawing board of Soto Acebal … the Solaris 64 RS. She represents an extremely innovative yacht in the performance cruising world, featuring a raised saloon with 360 degree windows for better panoramic views and a central engine room with two aft cabins isolated from any noise from the machinery and systems.
The innovation begins with the interior layout which provides a large sail locker in the bow, which can be also be specified as an optional ensuite crew cabin. A spacious owner’s cabin forward, with generous storage, available with either an island or an outboard bed. The galley is located close to the mast and extends across the full beam of the boat.

The wide saloon features the companionway off-set to starboard, which provides one big passage way to the guest cabins, all en-suites have separate full height shower compartments. In terms of size and storage volumes the two guest cabins have nothing to envy to the owner’s cabin forward.
The 3 meter long tender garage, with longitudinal access, does not intrude in the aft cabins at all.

The off-set entrance creates a spacious cockpit with a fixed table to the portside and a deck sofa to starboard side with a passageway in between.
The sail handling area of the cockpit features a central plinth dedicated to the mainsheet and two side winches.

The modern hull lines sport a wide stern with twin rudders and subtle dreadnought bow. The “T”-shaped keel offers two fixed draught options plus a lifting keel which does not intrude into the interior.

The Solaris 80RS was conceived for extended blue water cruising. The generous areas above and below deck have particular significance. A unique environment has been developed for the dinette, below which is the engine room, while above, the coachroof windows provide all-round sea views and natural light that makes the interior sparkle. The interior layouts of the first two 80’s have different versions. In hull 01 the owner’s stateroom is aft while in hull 02 it is forward. Whatever the choice, the boat will be laid out with 4 double cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom and shower and the skipper and crew cabins will also be equipped with separate bathroom and shower. On deck, the boat is extremely clean and ergonomic, a consequence of the complexities of the project that led to design a cockpit line on one floor level.
There are two different versions of companionway entrance: central with 2 tables or offset with one table. The helm command and sail management area is clearly separated from the relaxation area. The aft deck is extremely wide with access to the tender garage.
