Imoca 60

The IMOCA 60 KINGFISHER, originally launched as Ex Kingfisher, is a 2000 Owen Clarke design built by the renowned Marten Yachts shipyard in New Zealand. With an outstanding offshore pedigree and multiple round-the-world participations, she represents a proven and reliable platform ready for high-level competition. Available after the Vendée Globe 2020–2021 and fully race-ready, the yacht underwent a major refit in 2020 focused on performance optimization and reliability. Key upgrades included the installation of a new Lombardini engine, ballast modifications, cockpit improvements, servicing of the keel, jacks and hydraulics, and the removal of the original daggerboards. The electronics were upgraded to a latest-generation B&G H5000 system, and the hull was completely sanded and repainted. The refit also resulted in a significant weight reduction of approximately 800 kg.
